Hoya obscura likes things to be a bit cooler than many Hoya, although it still originates from The Philippines.
Do not leave this plant on a scorched windowsill as it prefers shadier conditions, but do allow it excellent drainage.
Given these conditions and a bit of warmth, Hoya obscura flowers profusely!!
Hoya obscura will grow quite quickly given some warmth and good drainage. I keep the compost on the dry side to make sure air can get to the roots.
The heady scent produced by the attractive umbels is extremely strong in full bloom. The flowers are an Orange / Red, but this varies with conditions.
It will need support before too long, with a trellis or hoop being ideal.
