This sought-after Hoya originates from Indonesia and is well-suited to growing in baskets or pots. It will also climb to a degree, so is very versatile.
The distinctive leaves are absolutely stunning. Dark shades are broken with silver streaks.
The flowers are generally an orange or pale yellow but colour varies depending on conditions.
As with many of the rarer Hoya, there has been much debate over the nomenclature of this plant. According to my research, many have also bought and sold it as Hoya hasseltii, or even Hoya sp. Flecked Leaf. I have bought this plant as Hoya sigillatis, so that is what I call it!
