Hoya erythrostemma
Tough green leaves are held on relatively strong vines. The flowers are beautiful and fragrant. This sought after, spectacular plant is one of the most desirable Hoyas available.
This Hoya is often sold in Pink and White varieties, however in my experience the flowers of each ‘sub-type’ may be Pink, even Reddy, or Very Light or White. I believe that they are one and the same and the colour variation is caused by environmental changes rather than genetic programming.
Hoya erythrostemma is easy to grow and will reward you with a stunning floral display. Hoya erythrostemma is found around Thailand.
