Hoya memoria
Hoya memoria was previously known as Hoya gracilis. Hoya gracilis was renamed Hoya memoria in 2004 but is still referred to as Hoya inconspicua or even Hoya litoralis by some. It is apparently named after a Memorial in Manila, so I will stick to the romantic name of Hoya memoria.
This Hoya has beautiful leaf markings, as you can see in the picture. The sweet green, elongate leaves are flecked heavily with silver.
It grows best in a hanging basket, where the speckled leaves can be shown off perfectly. The flowers of Hoya memoria are very small and a dark red / purple in colour.
Hoya memoria originates from The Philippines.
