Hoya nicholsonii
Hoya nicholsonii is quite rightly a very popular Hoya. It grows sturdily on woody stems, producing succulent green leaves, with beautiful veins. The distinctive leaves of Hoya nicholsonii are a feature in themselves but this Hoya really comes into its own when it produces its flowers, which are a pale yellow / white and emit a fantastic fragrance.
Also known as H. nicholsoniae (I bought it as H. nicholsonii, so that’s what I’ll call it)
Free-flowering and easy to care for, this Hoya grows quite woody, with the leaves held firmly at regular intervals.
Hoya nicholsonii originates from The Philippines.
