Hoya shepherdii
Hoya shepherdii is well-suited to growing in baskets. The elongate, fleshy leaves are a feature and the porcelain flowers are very strongly scented in full bloom.
Hoya shepherdii originates from around India and is easy to grow.

H shepherdii grows as a stringy vine, with new growth emerging almost continuously during the growing season. H shepherdii really is one for a hanging basket – small H shepherdii plants will be OK in pots, but, like the one for sale, more established H shepherdii plants are best kept trailing.
In my experience H shepherdii does best if you let the compost dry out almost completely in between waterings. The H shepherdii specimen for sale is an established cutting with several points of new growth, as you can see in the thumbnail images.
