Who am I?

Molly’s Tropical Plants is an online Tropical Plants Resource specialising in Hoya Plants and Cuttings. You can view, buy and read about Hoyas. There is also an ever-growing library with plant-related reading and care advice.

Based in the UK, Molly’s Tropical Plants started as a hobby website, allowing me to sell the odd cutting to provide more spending money for new plants.

Thanks to YOU, Molly’s Tropical Plants is growing, and will soon be offering a wider range of products.

I started collecting tropical plants 20 years ago and have built up quite a large collection (but not as large as many!) As well as having years of  practical experience, I have studied Botany and Plant Science to Degree level and have completed various ‘Hobby’ courses. I enjoying passing my passion and knowledge on to anyone that wants it.

I enjoy growing plants, reading about plants, writing about plants, plant photography, and in fact ANYTHING to do with plants!.

Molly’s Tropical Plants is optimised for Internet Explorer but should function effectively on all platforms.

Availability

I change my stock regularly as cuttings become available. Please bear in mind that I also sell plants off-line so stock can go quite quickly and is generally limited.  However, the items listed on this site have been set aside and are available unless otherwise stated.

Pictures

I always email you pictures of your purchases with your final invoice, along with a link to your pictures listed in my gallery.

Europe

Orders are shipped by Airmail Small Packets. Insurance is available at additional cost – just email me for a quotation.

Overseas buyers are repsonsible for their import laws. If you are not sure, please contact me.

Rest of the World

Sales outside Europe are not practical due to import restrictions. and transit costs.  I do not supply phytosanitary certificates.

If you are buying from overseas, please email me at mollysgarden@btinternet.com for comfirmation of import laws.

I cannot be held responsible for loss or damage in transit but I always keep proof of posting. This helps in the event of claiming for lost or damaged post.

Returns

Returns are accepted for genuine reasons. You are responsible for return postage.

I guarantee that your items will leave my shop in excellent condition. They are packed carefully with plenty of shredded paper to insulate and protect.

I do not post over the weekend to ensure that your plants are not in the postal system for too long. Whilst they will cope with the journey, I prefer to ensure faster delivery, for the sake of your plant.

If there is a problem with your purchase, please email me as soon as possible.  I want you to be delighted with your purchase and will do everything I can in order to rectify any issues. I cannot be held responsible for plants or cuttings after they have been received as I clearly cannot guarantee the conditions you keep them in. As such, you must contact me on the day of receipt if there is a problem in order that we can act to rectify it quickly.

Deliveries may be delayed in order to ensure good conditioning of your purchases. If this is the case I will inform you and explain your options, which will include cancelling at no cost to yourself.

I will not use your information to do anything other than complete your purchase.
