Images of My Day
This post, along with the other posts in the ‘Images of My Day’ category simply consist of a few photos that I have taken today. I hope you enjoy them.
Caterpillar Eating a Tomato
One of my tomatoes looked about ready to drop off after suffering a bit with the cold damp weather. On closer inspection I found that at least something was able to enjoy it before it went on the compost heap!
A Bee Loving A Sedum
There is a lovely patch of Sedum at the back of your garden. It is a magnet for wildlife, with bees, butterflies and all other sorts of insects dropping in for something to eat. Everyone can do there bit to Encourage Beneficial Insects into their gardens.
It’s a Good Job I Like Chilli
Chilli Plants are relatively easy to grow successfully. These three are loving my greenhouse and have produced masses of chillis. I’m growing to grow some more varieties next year, and hope to have better luck with my Fire Chills, which I baked this year by mistake.
Mealy Bug
There is plenty of wildlife inside too. Here is a picture of a Mealy Bug, shortly before its death. Whilst Mealy Bugs aren’t often fatal, they are not nice to have around and can prevent your plants reaching their full potential.
